Environmental & Energy Engineer

Position Overview: Environmental & Energy Specialist
Focus: Environmental Compliance, Certifications & Sustainability

As an Environmental and Energy Engineer, you will be the lead consultant for our clients’ ecological transition. Your primary mission will be to manage all environmental compliance requirements, international certifications, and strategic sustainability reporting. In a secondary capacity, you will leverage energy studies as a technical lever to reduce carbon footprints.

Key Responsibilities
1. Environmental Management & Certifications (Primary Focus):
Certification Lifecycle: Lead the acquisition and renewal process for international environmental certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 50001, LEED, BREEAM, etc.).
Compliance & Reporting: Complete environmental questionnaires and ESG disclosures for international partners and stakeholders.
Action Plans: Design and implement robust environmental action plans to ensure clients meet global sustainability standards.

2. Decarbonization & Energy Performance (Secondary Focus):
CO₂ Strategy: Calculate carbon footprints and define trajectories for emission reductions.
Technical Optimization: Develop material and energy balances to identify efficiency gains and ROI-driven energy-saving projects.

Required Skills & Profile
Administrative Requirement: Eligible for a CIVP contract (Contrat d’Initiation à la Vie Professionnelle) – MANDATORY.
Languages: Full professional proficiency in English (Written & Spoken) – MANDATORY. You must be able to draft technical reports and communicate with international stakeholders fluently.
Expertise in Certifications: Strong knowledge of international environmental standards and certification frameworks.
Degree Required: Engineering degree in Environment, Sustainable Development, or Energy Engineering with a strong environmental specialization.
Experience: Experience in environmental consultancy or managing ISO certifications is highly preferred.

Soft Skills
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple certification deadlines simultaneously.
Analytical Mindset: Capacity to translate complex environmental data into actionable business strategies.
Customer Orientation: Acting as a trusted advisor for global environmental requirements.
