Field and Phone Sales Representative

Job Overview
As a Field and Phone Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving sales of our custom development solutions. Our competitive advantage is lower cost for the end customer, sometimes even a $0 end customer project can be closed (Funded via the Canadian government), and on-time delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in software sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries for custom development solutions.
Reach out to prospective clients through both field visits and phone calls to understand their business needs and present our software solutions.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
Collaborate with the internal team to create compelling proposals and quotes.
Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.
Provide accurate and timely reports on sales activities and prospects.
Utilize in house automation tools to help generate your own leads.
Commissions on new and recurring sales from generated clients.

Working Conditions
Full-time position with a combination of field visits and office work.
Flexible schedule to accommodate client meetings and events.
Travel required for field sales activities.

Job Type: Full-time, work from home.

Schedule
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types

Experience
B2B sales: 1 year (preferred)
Account Management: 1 year (preferred)

Qualifications
Proven experience in software sales or a related field.
Strong understanding of custom development solutions and the software development lifecycle.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative sales team.
Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Willingness to travel for field sales activities.

Requirements
Previous experience in field sales is a plus.
Proficient in a CRM software
A good listener.
