Career Opportunity
We are looking for an in-house Content Writer/Editor to join our team and efficiently deliver high-quality website content that serves as compelling advertising copy while also leveraging proper SEO principles.
Accepted candidates will begin working as content writers to become familiar with our company’s writing style guidelines. Once they learn how to integrate the tenets of our writing style guide, including best SEO practices, they will begin editing content from their fellow writers.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of how to create informative copy within the confines of SEO principles and can edit content to meet quality and accuracy standards with the ultimate goal of providing accurate, informative and engaging content. The ideal candidate is also a self-motivated team player, with great attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
What You’ll Be Doing

When you begin as a Content Writer:
• Write technical content, how-to articles, sales copy and blog posts based on research
• Brainstorm article topics for new & existing web projects
• Adhere to deadlines
• Attend workshops to continue building skill set
• Upload articles to the CMS

When You Move On To Become a Content Editor
• Check content for accuracy and errors
• Edit content for proper grammar and punctuation
• Edit content for clarity and readability
• Proofread, edit and review content for quality, value and uniqueness
• Review content to ensure effective SEO keyword density
• Meet deadlines

What You Have
• 2+ years of writing/editing experience
• Exceptional command of the Italian language, both written & spoken
• Advanced knowledge of AP Style guidelines and SEO principles and best practices
• The ability to work well under pressure
• The ability to take instruction well
• The ability to work outside the scope of designated job responsibilities
• The ability to prioritize, multitask and research (if necessary) in a fast-paced environment
• A degree in Italian language/Journalism/Marketing/translations (preferred but not required)
