Junior Procurement Officer

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Procurement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage and enhance our supply chain processes by sourcing quality suppliers, negotiating competitive prices, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role involves coordinating with local suppliers in Tunisia, handling procurement logistics, and maintaining accurate supplier records.

Key Responsibilities
• Research potential suppliers locally in Tunisia and worldwide.
• Maintain and update supplier lead lists, including contact information, and share details with the Sourcing Officer.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with Tunisian suppliers to ensure smooth collaboration.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and requirements.
• Negotiate prices with local suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow up delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Assist in monitoring product quality to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement or a related field; prior experience or internships in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain are also beneficial.

Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required
