Responsable Engineering

Challenges

Manages realization of workflow organization incl. following:
Material flow
FORS/SIGIP structure – where applicable
Master Data (for LEPS) – where applicable
Product FMEA
Initiates product optimizations
Setting of standards for workflow organization
Supervision and control of edited work documents (work instructions, visualization)
Supervision of the realization of technical changes (Change Management)
Supports the capacity planning and utilization of means of production
Coordinates improvement projects
Manages work station organization including:
Arrangement, optimization and participation in approval of work stations
Board design standardization – where applicable
Controlling of new tools for production development
Supports the technological process development
Ensures management of work station organization including:
Arrangement, optimization and participation in approval of work stations
Board design standardization – where applicable
Controlling of new tools for production development
Mandatory LEONI responsabilities:

Complies with all current relevant legal and internal defined standards as well as safety and environmental regulations
Ensures and contributes to the customer satisfaction
Ensures and contributes to LEONI financial targets and results
Complies with deadlines
Fulfills the quality requirements
Complies with the LPSplus Standards in accordance to LPSplus Manual
Uses efficiently any kind of materials and resources of the company
Keeps order and cleanliness

Leadership:
People Management of the area of responsibility (resource allocation, evaluation, leadership, monitoring)
Ensures the budget/costs planning, allocation, review and tracking under the consideration of the LEONI profitability
Develops respective processes and KPIs
Coordinates activities across departments and monitors results in order to achieve the defined objectives
Encourages employees to come up with ideas for improving the activity and implementing them (promotes independence and self-confidence.)
Continuously empowers and motivates the team by showing attention for good performance
Demonstrates appropriate and desirable behavior, serves as a role model
