Observational Study Manager

Position Title: Observational study manager
Department: Health Economics and Outcomes Research
Location: Tunis (Tunisia), Krakow or Bielsko-Biała (Poland)
Contract type: Full-time
Experience: 5 to 10 years in related field

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an observational study manager to join our patient-centered research (PCR) team. The PCR team conducts patient surveys, non-interventional studies, chart reviews and epidemiological studies, to collect data on burden of disease, health outcomes in real-world, patient-reported outcomes, or patient preferences for example.
The observational study manager will contribute to the development of observational study protocols and manage fieldwork.
• Write study protocol sections related to data collection
• Manage the recruitment of study participants (healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers…)
• Brief study investigators and fieldwork collaborators
• Act as main point of contact for all collaborators involved in data collection (e.g. physicians, patient associations, hospital representatives…)
• Prepare or review documents for ethics committee review
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements applicable to observational studies in each country
• Report to clients on fieldwork progress
• Stay abreast of methodologies and regulatory requirements related to observational studies

REQUIREMENTS
• Master’s degree or PhD in the area of life sciences
• ≥5 years’ experience in clinical research, epidemiology or observational research
• Excellent communication skills in oral and written English
• Excellent client & project management skills
• Ability to work on several projects in parallel and meet tight deadlines
• Good interpersonal skills and team-oriented mind-set
• Ability to inspire and motivate people within research teams
• Good understanding of Good Clinical Practice regulations
