Senior Testing Engineer

Mission:
• Participation in technical product reviews with R&D
• Coordination of test specifications and contents of the QTPs in cooperation with quality planning
• Creation of the detailed testing planning (deadlines, resources) for the projects in TET-TU
• Responsible for the test equipment in the laboratory (TET-TU)
• Developing product validation solutions that balance technical and costs requirements
• Demand Compliance with standards
• Responsible for the technical supervision and training of testing engineers in team TET-TU
• Review and release of the test reports
• First escalation level for scheduling conflicts and technical issues for the project team
• Participation in the yearly budget planning of the test equipment in the laboratory, by preparing a suggestion for the team leader of the testing laboratory
• Responsible for the test orders in team TET-TU
• Technical supervision of the assigned test engineers
• Participation in the performance appraisal and further training planning of the testing engineers in Team TET-TU, by preparing a suggestion for the team leader of the testing laboratory

Coordination with the project team:
• Until PEP phase 4: central technical contact for project team
• From PEP phase 5: Schedule and technical monitoring of all tasks stored in the R-Plan for the projects of TET-TU
• Implementation of effort estimations for product cost calculation

Technical knowledge:
• Knowledge of applicable standards
• Knowledge of Switch Testing (UL Follow up, IEC 61058-2,…)
• Basics of bus systems in the automotive sector
• High physical and technical competence
