Transport Coordinator (H/F)
We are seeking a Worldwide Transport Coordinator for our client based in Hammam Lif, Ben Arous, Tunisia.
› What You Will Do:
Your mission is to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods worldwide, focusing on four strategic pillars:
– Cost Control: Implement strategies to minimize transportation costs and help the group stay under 3% of total turnover in expenses.
– Optimization: Maximize shipment density (targeting 95-100%) and reduce overseas lead times by 10-20%.
– Strategic Sourcing: Continuously find and develop the most reliable and cost-effective Global Strategic Transport Partners.
– Sustainability: Drive the Promote Green Routes initiative to reduce carbon emissions through cleaner shipping methods.
› Reporting & Team
You will report directly to the VP Operations (Assemblies) and work closely with VPs and Plant Managers to execute key actions.
› Essential Requirements:
– Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
– Diploma in Logistics or Equivalent.
– Fluent English (written and spoken).
› We Need Someone Who Can:
– Negotiate contracts and optimize global routes.
– Collaborate across regions to consolidate shipments and maximize load capacity.
– Anticipate and mitigate risks like rising costs , supply chain disruptions , and regulatory issues.
