KALIMA is a consulting firm specialized in people-centric performance, leadership development, and organizational transformation. We are currently recruiting an experienced CTO on behalf of a major retail client undergoing a strategic digital transformation.
Role Overview
The Chief Technology & Digital Transformation Officer will lead all technology operations and digital transformation initiatives. The role includes building IT strategies, developing infrastructure, ensuring ERP integration, enabling smart retail systems, and driving innovation across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the company’s digital transformation strategy and technology roadmap aligned with operational and strategic objectives.
Oversee ERP (Dynamics preferred) operations, maintenance, and integration across all departments.
Build and maintain IT infrastructure ensuring system reliability and minimal technical downtime.
Lead cybersecurity efforts and ensure protection against digital threats.
Manage Smart Retail Systems to deliver an enhanced digital customer experience.
Provide technical performance reports, analytics, and digital insights to top management.
Establish and supervise effective technical support policies for fast user issue resolution.
Field Responsibilities
Lead digital transformation projects on-site and supervise software/hardware deployments.
Verify installation quality of POS, devices, and new branch technologies.
Manage field technical support teams and ensure timely issue resolution.
Liaise with technology vendors and service providers to maintain system upgrades and innovation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in technology leadership or digital transformation within a retail environment.
Proven experience in ERP management (Dynamics strongly preferred).
Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and cybersecurity.
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage diverse technical teams.
