KALIMA is a consulting firm specialized in leadership, performance systems, and organizational excellence. We are currently recruiting a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for one of our major clients in the retail sector, headquartered in Tripoli.
Role Purpose
The CFO leads all financial and accounting operations to ensure stability, compliance, and financial efficiency. The role includes budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, ERP integration, and advising top management with strategic financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Administrative Responsibilities
Develop the company’s annual financial strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
Supervise preparation of annual and quarterly budgets and ensure adherence.
Monitor daily financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
Manage cash flows and ensure financial obligations are met on time.
Oversee collections, payments, and management of receivables and payables.
Enhance financial and accounting systems and ensure integration with the ERP (Dynamics).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with strategic recommendations.
Ensure full compliance with tax regulations and local/international financial laws.
Field Responsibilities
Conduct periodic branch visits to verify application of financial procedures and cash handling.
Support branch finance teams and resolve issues affecting cash flow or financial accuracy.
Provide direct guidance to improve transparency and standardize financial workflows.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
(Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred.)
Minimum 7 years of financial experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong proficiency in ERP systems, especially financial modules (e.g., Dynamics).
Advanced skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong understanding of tax laws and financial regulations.
