Business Advisor

Responsibilities include:
• Identify business that meet the project’s firm selection criteria.
• Through effective due diligence and diagnostics on the enterprise, quickly determine if a business can grow successfully, including the creation of new jobs, expand sales, and possibly exports.
• Work with selected business to develop work plans that will implement the project’s assistance packages, establishing responsibilities, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop strong mentoring and professional relationships with the senior management of the selected companies and its key staff.
• Track enterprise progress against plans and report progress to the Business Competitiveness Team Leader.
• Manage project consultants.
• Support the achievement of overall project goals as required to ensure project performance.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least five years of professional experience in business.
• Experience in leading consulting assignments to Tunisian firms highly desirable.
• Knowledge of and experience in working in key economic sectors, including but not limited to agro-industry, textile/garments, ICT and technology, light manufacturing, etc.
• Experience with USAID or other international donors desired but not necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
• Fluency in Arabic and French required; Good English skills highly desirable and necessary for some positions.
• Ability to travel throughout Tunisia.
• Previous experience supervising and managing large teams (required for supervisory positions only).
