Intersos – Libya and Tunisia Mission is looking for

Translator

Specific objectives:
§ Translate written or spoken material from English, Arabic and French into one or more other languages among English, Arabic and French;
§ Accurately reflect the meaning found in the original source language (English, Arabic or French) and rendering that meaning and tone in the translated work
§ Translate video and online media by providing subtitles;
§ Ensure high quality and accuracy of the entire documents before submitting them to the ICT technician for the upload on Moodle platform;
§ Ensure that the translation is written with style, correct grammar and spelling.

Deliverables:
1. Translation of INTERSOS trainings’ contents on a bi-weekly/monthly base

Requirements:
• University degree in Translation and Interpretation, Languages and/or equivalent relevant experience
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Respect and non-discriminatory attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Arabic, English and French (written and spoken) mandatory
• Knowledge of and experience with applying SPHERE Standards, and Core Humanitarian Standards preferred

Timeline:
• Expected start date: Mid August 2020
• Expected end date: End of December 2020
