Solution Architect – Cisco ou Netapp / Vmware

Scope :
The solutions Architect is a primary technical resource for the field sales force.
As such the solutions Architect is reponsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products.
The solutions ahchitect must be able to articulate technology and profuct positioning to both business and technical users. And also be able to identify all technical issues of assignes accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales and implementation process.

Responsabilities :
• Ability to understans customer requirements ans come up with the proper solution desgin with complete technical explanation.
• Identifies ans generates bill of materials of the proposed solution with pricing.
• Responds to customer tenders and inquiries related to the products and solutions represented .
• Provides reporting to Company management on sales activities.
• Develops a good technical / functional knowledge in the products or solutions represented for effective sales results.
• Develops good knoledge about competitors and competitive products ti effectively suppress competition.
• Conducts presentations on products or solutions proposed.
• Cooperates and coordinates with other sales and technical personnel.
• Helps in increasing customer satisfaction through commitment and quality of work.
• Communicates with parters SEs and AMs for designs and salestargets.
• Keeps up with latest Partners Technologies ( Attending Technology Seminars,Webcasts,etc…) .
• Fulfills Partner certifications in different fields and solutions.
• Represents the company in a professional manner – build positive relationships with clients and partners to the company’s benefit.

Accountabilities:
Internally , the solution Architect is in contact with:
The category Manager.
The Bid Desk ( pre sales) Team.
The sales Team.
The value Channel Management.
Thefiscal andadministrative departments.
Externally , the solution Architect is in contact with:
The suppliers.
Te customers.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Computer Science degree or similar.

Competences:
• Strong leaderships qualities with good communication ( English and /or french) and interpersonal skills .
• Strong presentation skills at all levels of business (technical or business).
• Self-driven ,results-oriented with a positive outlook , and aclear focus on high quality and business profit with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology.
• Organizedand analytical , able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
• Comfortable in the dynamic armosphere of a technical organization with rapidly expanding customer base.
• Masters MS outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

Work Environment:
The solution Architect is expected to travel extensively throughout Africa to visit partners and assist with building solutions.
As well as occasional travel to other countries to attend vendor conferences and training.
This is a corporate environment and the solution Architect is expecte to dress and behave accordingly.
