The British Embassy in Tunis is hiring a Regional Learning and Developlement Advisor (RLDA) on a one year contract.
The RLDA has overall regional responsibility for L&D activities in alignment with organisational priorities and the operational success of the Regional Learning & Development Team (RLDT).
This role will include an expectation of up to 50% time travel both within the Region and globally.
To be successful you must have:
At least 5 years of training delivery and design experience; ideally in management or leadership development and soft skills.
2 – 3 years of management experience in L&D field
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of learning and development processes including learning needs assessment, learning evaluation and learning design.
Experience in managing and servicing client accounts (HR/ L&D related) preferred
Coaching and mentoring experience within a corporate environment preferred

Job Description : Account Management:
Business Partner with Senior Management at Posts across the region, HR Business Partners and thematic leads in both London and the Region, to achieve business performance goals and successfully implement organisational change initiatives.
Support and advise Posts with identifying appropriate learning interventions through:
Supporting the development of L&D strategies that align to Country Business Plans/ organisational objectives
Encouraging robust Learning Needs Analyses are undertaken to support the L&D strategy
Supporting Posts in establishing L&D plans that reflects relevant L&D interventions (incorporating blended learning – 70:20:10)
Supporting Posts in evaluating L&D interventions for return on investment against expected outcomes
Providing Posts with L&D/Mgt consultancy support/advice
Support thematic accounts to assist them in achieving their business objectives, working with thematic leads and London Liaison Officers.
Sharing best practice with RLDT Network and other Posts.
Delivery:
Deliver formal training or other informal L&D interventions that meet the specific needs of staff from all Government Departments in their regions. This will involve at both their base Post and
Ensure effective prioritisation of resources between Posts and different customers including Prosperity, Consular, DFID, Home Office and Visas (previously UKBA) in line with overall RLDT priorities and customer needs
Design appropriate L&D Interventions for delivery by the RLDT Network
Participate, as owner and/or deliverer, in reviews of RLDT and CSL products Active participation in knowledge and best practice sharing across the RLDT global network
RLDT Management/Operational Management:
Partner with the host Post and ensure clarity on roles, expectations and delivery of L&D interventions.
Lead and work successfully with local/regional/global project teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of shared objectives, implementation plans and project outcomes, including accurate documentation of activities and reporting.
Overall responsibility for an operational budget, ensuring timely and accurate monthly financial reporting and on-track budget spend.
Support and collaborate with other RLDT members in the region/network to deliver on account plans and shared objectives. Active participation in knowledge and best practice sharing across the global network of Regional L&D Teams, providing appropriate development support where required.
May include Line Management of other RLDT members.
